Pupils from Jo's old school prepare to pay their respects

Heckmondwike grammar school staff and pupils are lining the route where the cortege will pass to pay their respects.

The year ten and 6th form pupils wore white roses in tribute to her. Jo had visited the school since becoming an MP

'Community has united' since Jo's death, says school friend

The funeral of Jo Cox will take place this morning.

The Batley and Spen MP died following an attack in her constituency last month. The cortege will pass through Batley and Heckmondwike for people to pay their respects.

David Hall knew Mrs Cox at school. He says the constituency has united since her death.
