Minimal disruption for shoppers say Morrisons after fire
Morrisons says shoppers should notice minimal disruption at the company's stores following a huge fire at a bakery near Wakefield.
Dozens of firefighters were involved in tackling the blaze at the site, near junction 41 of the M1, yesterday and crews have been damping down today. The incident is not being treated as suspicious. Elsewhere, crews have also been damping down following another major fire at a heavy goods vehicle depot near Halifax.

At its height 15 fire engines from across West Yorkshire were deployed to the scene. Plumes of smoke could be seen from miles around.

Emergency crews are damping down after a massive fire in Wakefield last night.
Flames could be seen coming from a depot owned by Morrisons at the junction 41 industrial estate. 15 fire engines were at the scene at the height of the blaze, with four crews still there this morning.

Emergency crews are tackling a large fire in Wakefield. Flames can be seen coming from Rathbones, a bakery operated by the supermarket Morrisons at the junction 41 industrial estate. 10 fire engines are on the scene.
Several roads have been closed nearby and the plume of black smoke is visible from several miles away.
West Yorkshire Police are urging people to avoid the area so the emergency services can get through.
