Over 1,000 pupils gather at South Yorkshire playground for commemorative service
More than 1,000 pupils at Wales High School, near Rotheham, gather in the playground for a commemorative service to remember those who died in the battle of the Somme during the First World War.
Later, a plaque will be unveiled in the school to commentate the men from the village of Kiveton Park who were killed in the war.

People gathered for a two minute silence at the Hull Cenotaph to mark the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.
Rev Canon Dr Neal Barnes from Holy Trinity Church led a service at the city's war memorial.
Bell tolls at Bradford Cathedral
A single bell has tolled at Bradford Cathedral at the exact time one hundred years ago that the Battle of the Somme began.
The bell chimed for five minutes followed by ten minutes of silence and then a further ten minutes of prayer led by the Dean to remember all those who lost their lives.
The service ran simultaneously with two others at Ripon and Wakefield Cathedral.

Bugles sound across Leeds to commemorate the start of the Battle of the Somme the exact moment troops went over the trenches 100 years ago.
The tribute to the fallen is part of a programme of commemorative events organised by the council and a host of other organisations and groups across the city to mark the centenary of the battle.
The buglers were stationed at a number of city centre locations, including the Victoria Gardens War Memorial, Civic Hall, the top of Briggate, Leeds Minster, Dortmund Square and City Square.
Royal Armouries Museum to commemorate Battle of the Somme
The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds is planning to commemorate the one hundred anniversary of the Battle of the Somme which saw almost half a million British soldiers lose their lives.
Yorkshire suffered more casualties than any other region in the country.
The museum is using re-enactors to bring the conditions and recollections of soldiers to life.
