Orphaned seal released back into wild

A seal pup that was found stranded in a field in Lincolnshire has been released back into the wild.

Celebration the seal was surrounded by 30 cows when he was discovered by a walker back in June.

The pup spent 16 weeks at a sanctuary in Skegness, where he was nurtured back to health.

An orphaned baby seal that was rescued after it became stranded in a field full of cows is being released back into the wild today. The pup, named 'Celebration', was found 16 weeks ago by RSPB staff at Frampton marshes in Lincolnshire and has been nursed back to health at Skegness Natureland.
