Large fire at recycling plant near Grantham
Firefighters are tackling a major blaze at a recycling plant at High Dyke at Ancaster near Gratham this morning. Police are advising people living in nearby towns and villages to keep their doors and windows closed and motorists should avoid the area.Twelve fire crews are on the scene where a hundred square metres of rubbish and carpets is on fire.

Emergency services 'working hard' to tackle fire at recycling plant
Around 75 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a recycling plant in Ancaster near Grantham.
A block of around four thousand bales of rubbish is on fire and though the blaze is under control it's not expected to be put out for several days. That could mean traffic continues to be affected in the local area as road closures are in place.
