Hull faces 'tough challenges' in economic recovery
Hull is still not seeing the effects of the economic recovery. While Leeds fared well in a health check survey of UK's major cities, it revealed that between 2010 and 2012, Hull had more job losses than jobs created. It remains in the bottom 10 cities for private sector job growth.

Leeds is the ninth fastest growing city in the UK, according to a new survey. The city has seen the creation of thousands of private sector jobs. Meanwhile Bradford, Sheffield and Doncaster are in the bottom ten.
Cities Outlook 2014, the annual health check of UK cities, warns that economic recovery is widening the gap between London and other UK cities.
