"When Bobby came over to us from Everton, everything completely changed. We went from being an average side to being an excellent one. He had everything, he was strong, skilful - he could get a ball in the back of the net from well outside the box."

"I got on with Bobby but I'm not denying we had the odd spat from time to time. He was a big character at Leeds and we could both be pretty stubborn at times! But he was a fantastic footballer and it's a sad day."

He was a real tough player hard player and was a winner. He then passed that attitude to the younger players.

_Personally for me when I was coming through he set a great example and looked after me in my younger years at the club."
