Boston murders accused appears at Lincoln Crown Court
The man accused of killing two people in Boston at the weekend has appeared at Lincoln Crown Court. 41 year old Mehmet Ozen faces two charges of murder over the deaths of Darren Harwood and Charlotte Piccaver, who were both 26, and one of the attempted murder of 24 year old Keyleigh Wright.
Mehmet Ozen spoke through a Turkish interpreter to confirm his name and date of birth. He was told he will be back in court on July 26 to enter pleas and if there is a trial in the case that will begin on October 14. As he was remanded in custody he thanked the judge and offered him his respect.
Tributes to DJ murder victim
Tributes have been paid to a DJ from Sleaford who was murdered in Boston.
On his Facebook page, one user - Jennie Baxter - said: "RIP Daz. I used to work with you. Such a tragic thing, people in this world are so sick. You will be missed. You are a top lad, keep dj-ing up there mate."
Nikki Emma added: "Woke up still in utter shock can't believe you are gone Darren. We had some good times and you were always there when I needed a chat or to moan.
"I will always have our memories together. Thoughts are with your family. RIP, Love you."
And Jenni Taylor wrote: "Can't believe you've been taken from us so young. RIP."

Tributes have been paid to a man and a woman who were murdered in Boston.
Darren Harwood and Charlotte Piccaver, both 26, suffered stab wounds in an attack at a house in Red Lion Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Facebook groups have been set up for both of them - with 64 members joining "RIP Charlotte Piccaver".
One member, Kirsty Anne Miller, said: "Still hasn't sunk in you're gone and that I will never see you again. I will never forget the times we spent together. Heaven has gained another angel.x x x x x"
Soraya Lucas added: "Rest in peace Charlotte, never failed to make me smile. You will always have a place in my heart.xxx"

A 41-year-old Boston man, named by police as Mehmet Ozen, has been charged with the murder of Charlotte Piccaver and Darren Harwood in Boston, Lincolnshire, at the weekend
The pair, both aged 26, were stabbed at a house in Red Lion Street. Ozen has also been charged with the attempted murder of another woman and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court this morning.
Boston murder victims named
Police in Boston have released the names of the two people found dead following a disturbance at a house in the town.
They are Charlotte Piccaver, aged 26, and Darren Harwood, also 26.
Detectives have a further 36 hours in which to question a 41 year-old man in connection with the murders.
