VIDEO: Mopping-up in Hebden Bridge
Flash flooding left much of Hebden Bridge resembling a boating lake and for the second time in a fortnight, the residents and businesses were sweeping and mopping up after the freak cloudburst. Lisa Adlam has spent the day there to see how local people are coping with the devastation.
Weather warning for Lincolnshire motorists
There have been a number of heavy showers in north Lincolnshire this afternoon. The areas most affected are in Gainsborough and Market Rasen and the surrounding areas. This has led to deep surface water and minor flooding on some roads.
Specifically - Gainsborough Road, Middle Rasen. Tealby Road, Market Rasen . Bully Hill top, Tealby and the A156 High Street, Marton. There will be other more minor roads also affected. The police are warning motorists to be aware that they could drive round a bend and be faced with deep standing
water are urging them to drive according to the conditions, generally means travelling slower and allowing more time for any journey. Dipped headlights should also be used. Further heavy downpours are expected this evening, particularly in the north of the county.

There are currently five flood warnings in place in our region - they include the River Nidd, parts of the River Ouse, the Holderness area and around Market Weighton.

Calder Valley - canal has breached its banks
Canal has now breached its banks and is flooding Hebden Bridge town centre. Police Officers are on the ground monitoring other water levels.
Calder Valley - police warn residents "Stay indoors"
Police in West Yorkshire are warning people living in Hebden Bridge to stay indoors and go upstairs if possible and not to venture into the floodwaters. People are being asked to avoid trying to drive into the area.
The roads currently affected are New Road, Market Street, Cragg Road and Albert Road in Hebden Bridge and Burnley Road at the turning circle at Todmorden.
Calder valley - police warning
West Yorkshire police are warning people not to travel to Calder Valley because of flash floods.
