Yellow weather warning still in place for more rain
The Met office have extended the Yellow weather warning for West Yorkshire until tomorrow morning. Around another 20 millimetres of rain is expected to fall overnight. Flood warnings are also in place in North Yorkshire.

Flooding in Todmorden
Following two days of heavy rain several flood warnings are in place across West Yorkshire. Areas around the Rivers Calder, Colne and Wharfe have been affected.

Lightning hits Selby
Torrential rain has led to the Met Office issuing an amber weather warning for the Pennines and Peak District, which means be prepared for flooding.
There has already been one major casualty of the downpours and thats the one day international between England and the West Indies at Headingley which has been abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Last night firefighters in North Yorkshire responded to more than 25 flooding calls.

Weather alert - Yorkshire
There is a YELLOW alert for rain in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire today. This means there is a moderate risk of severe weather and disruption.
Heavy rain is expected to move north across the area during the course of the day. There's increasing concern some of the more populated areas will experience some flooding - and gusts of wind of up to 50mph.
