Man charged over fatal crash on M180 at Barnetby
A man has been charged with killing a woman in a crash which also left a two-year-old boy fighting for life.
Marius Ionut Dencea, 34, of Berkeley Street in Scunthorpe, is accused of causing the 29-year-old woman's death by dangerous driving and seriously injuring the boy.
It comes after a car collided with a tree after coming off the westbound side of the M180 at Barnetby, North Lincolnshire, on Sunday 5 January.
The woman, who has not been named, died in the early hours of Monday. The boy remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Mr Dencea appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning. He was given bail and is due to appear at Hull Crown Court on Tuesday 4 February.
