Man arrested over woman's death in Stamford released without charge

A 50-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Lincolnshire has been released without charge.

The woman, in her 40s, was found dead at a property on Northumberland Avenue, in Stamford, on Sunday, 29 December.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: "We are continuing to investigate this incident as an unexpected death and would appeal for anyone with information to contact us."
