Fundraiser launched for one-year-old critically injured in fatal Barsnley crash
A fundraiser has been launched for a toddler who was critically injured in a crash in South Yorkshire which killed his grandfather.
The appeal has raised over £2,000 in the last two days.
Police were called to West Street in the Worsbrough area of Barnsley after reports of a collision at 11.41am on Sunday.
A blue Volkswagen Polo had hit a wall, along with a 56-year-old man and the toddler.
The man died at the scene while the boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene and was assisting officers with enquiries.
South Yorkshire Police said the man's family had been informed and were being supported by specialist officers.
