Two men charged after arson and gun attacks in Doncaster

Two men have been charged after a house was set on fire and shots were fired in a street in Doncaster.

Police were called to reports of gun shots on Hawthorne Grove in Bentley on Sunday (22nd December). No injuries were reported.

Ryan Jobes, 24, of Vulcan Crescent, Scawsby, and James McGuiness, 21, of Carr View Avenue, Balby, have both been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

They appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today (24 December) and were remanded into custody.
