A1 northbound closed due to lorry fire in North Yorkshire

There is slow traffic on A1(M) Northbound after a vehicle fire.

Traffic was stopped northbound between J48 Boroughbridge and J49 Ripon due to a lorry fire earlier today (7 November.

All lanes have now re-opened and traffic is moving slowly.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service is at the scene
