All traffic has been held on a major route through South Yorkshire after an accident.

Congestion has been building on the A1 near Doncaster on the northbound carriageway.

Traffic was queuing from J35 for Doncaster to J37 for Marr.

Vehicles are also queuing on the adjacent southbound carriageway.
