Murder investigation launched after man shot dead at Sheffield car wash

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was shot dead at a car wash in Sheffield.

Emergency services were called to the Diamond Hand Car Wash, Burngreave Road, at 6.45pm on Tuesday, 29 March, following reports that shots had been fired.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "A man was taken to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later. A murder investigation is now underway."
