Hull MP Diana Johnson receives damehood at Windsor Castle

Hull North MP Diana Johnson has received her damehood for her charitable and political service.

Prince William presented her with the honour during a ceremony at Windsor Castle.

She was given the title almost two years ago in the New Year's Honours list of 2020.

The MP was wearing an outfit created by Hull tailor Cock of the Walk, who helped the NHS with personal protective equipment (PPE) at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Diana Johnson has been Labour MP for Hull North since 2005.
