Police appeal after firework put through letterbox in Hull

A CCTV image has been release by Humberside Police after a firework was put through a letterbox in an arson attack on a house in Hull.

The Police have issued an appeal for help in identifying a man linked to the attack in 8th Avenue which took place last Thursday (4 November) at 7.44pm.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said:

The letterbox incident is just one of a number of reported arson and anti-social behaviour crimes in Hull in the past fortnight.

A bus stop was torched on Halloween, fire crews have been attacked by yobs while in the line of duty on two separate occasions and there has been a spate of fires where wheelie bins have been set alight, including on the Boothferry Estate.
