Furnaces expected to fire up again later this month - but the steel industry remains under threat

The furnaces at Liberty Steel's Rotherham plant are expected to fire up again later this month, but questions about the long term stability of UK steel production, will continue to hang over the town.

Industry experts have welcomed the news but they say the rising costs of energy are still putting the future of the whole steel industry under threat. Emma Wilkinson has spent the day in Rotherham.
