Wardens visit homes in Bradford to offer Covid advice
Bradford is in a "high stakes" position and faces local lockdown if Covid-19 infection rates are not brought under control.
Bradford has had one of the highest infection rates in the country for several weeks, and Bradford Council is urging residents to play their part in fighting the virus.
Hundreds of Council wardens are visiting homes to offer people advice, and remind them that the pandemic is not over, despite many lockdown measures being lifted.
The Council is also talking with the Government as to whether it is safe to implement any further local easing of restrictions that were due to take place on August 1.
The decision would need to be made by the Secretary of State which could delay the opening of bowling alleys, boxing gyms and some other sports sites
