More than 100 jobs at risk at Leeds Bradford Airport due to coronavirus pandemic

The cuts will affect around a quarter of the workforce

More than 100 jobs are at risk at Leeds Bradford Airport because of the impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

The cuts will affect around a quarter of the workforce, including those on temporary and zero-hour contracts, who usually work during the peak summer period, as well as some other roles.

Many staff members, including those on zero-hour and temporary contracts were furloughed earlier this year after travel was grounded because of the coronavirus pandemic. A consultation period has begun, with up to 102 jobs at risk.
