A woman has died after reportedly falling out of a camper van as it was travelling along the B6165 near Ripley on Sunday 28 June.

A white Fiat camper van was driving towards Ripley from the direction of Pateley Bridge. Police say they believe a 40-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries after she fell out of the van shortly before it reached the roundabout with the A61 at around 7.10pm.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
