Three Leeds primary schools confirm covid-19 cases as one shuts for deep clean
Three primary schools in Leeds have confirmed cases of coronavirus, with one closing for a deep clean.
Hovingham Primary school in Harehills will be closed temporarily to staff and pupils in order for the clean to take place. It will reopen on June 29, 2020.
Two other schools, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary and Crossgates Primary have also confirmed covid-19 cases. They will remain open and only children and staff in the affected classes will have to stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days.
