Police appeal launched after robbery of 13-year-old boy in Barnsley
Police officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery of a 13-year-old boy in Barnsley.
The victim was walking with his bicycle on 15 March, when it is reported a man approached him at the junction of Mottram Street and Eldon Street, and demanded he hand his bike it over.
Police say when the boy refused the man pushed the bike onto him, causing the victim to fall to the floor.
The man then made off with the bicycle down Mottram Street towards Harborough Hill.
The boy was uninjured in the incident.
South Yorkshire Police is urging anyone who recognises the man in the image to contact them.
