Investigation underway into the cause of a serious house fire in Bradford
An investigation is underway into the cause of a serious house fire in Bradford which took hold in the early hours of this morning (5 June)
Police received calls at around 3am after reports of a cloud of heavy smoke on Cross Road.
Nearby properties were evacuated as the three storey building blazed. Fire crews from Fairweather Green, Shipley and Bradford stations attended the scene and remained on site today to dampen down the area.
The fire service says that the house has been heavily damaged and is reported to be in an unsafe and uninhabitable condition.
No-one is believed to have been injured.
