Former Bradford City footballer in court accused of child sex offences

A former Bradford City footballer has appeared in court charged with sex offences.

Tyrell Robinson, aged 22, appeared via video link at Bradford Magistrates' Court accused of sexually touching a 14-year-old girl and of making and distributing an indecent image of a child via social media in August 2018.

He could not be heard in the courtroom but signalled with his hand to confirm his name, date of birth and address during the 10-minute hearing.

The winger, who was sacked by Bradford earlier this year, will appear before Bradford Crown Court on the 16th June.
