Lives in Lockdown: Health worker 'denied right to help in COVID-19 crisis' because of asylum status

A health worker living in West Yorkshire says she has being denied the right to help in the coronavirus relief effort because she is an asylum seeker.

The 26-year-old - who fled Afghanistan to escape a forced marriage - is one of thousands of people which one charity says are desperate to play their part but instead are living in poverty while being 'digitally excluded' from society.

In the latest part in a series of reports on Lives in Lockdown, Jonathan Brown has been looking at efforts to help those most in need.
