Fire crews tackle blaze on Hatfield Moors

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews are currently on scene at a fire on the Hatfield Moors near Doncaster.

They were called out shortly after 5.30pm last night after reports part of the moorland was ablaze.

There are two engines in attendance and crews are expect to be there for some time.

People are being asked to avoid the area whilst crews tackle the blaze.
