Woman charged with arson over Sheffield cathedral fire
A woman has been charged in connection with a fire at Sheffield Cathedral.
Police were called to reports that a window had been smashed at the rear of the building before bags of clothing had been set alight in one of the rooms.Part of the building, which is used by the homelessness charity the Archer Project, was damaged in the blaze.
No one was hurt and the cause is under investigation.
A 40 year old woman was due before magistrates in Sheffield today charged with arson, burglary and assaulting an emergency worker.
