Muslim group cook meals for Huddersfield care home staff living in caravans to help protect residents

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) have catered for the staff of Meadow Court Residential Home in Huddersfield, who have been described as 'angels' - after agreeing to live on site to help shield residents from coronavirus.

16 staff members and four directors at the residential home are living on the premises in caravans for three weeks.

Youth Leader of AMYA Huddersfield, Mr Shakeel Yousaf Said:

Over the past month, AMYA has been supporting those on the front line and vulnerable members of the public through a number of campaigns, including: Assisting NHS staff with food packages and PPE supplies, supplying food parcels and donating to foodbanks.
