For the NHS: Unofficial Hull FC shirt proves popular among fans

An unofficial Hull FC shirt with a special tribute to care workers has helped raise around £6,000 for the NHS in just nine days.

Proceeds from sales of the NHS Charity Shirt are expected to go to Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust's charity WISHH and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust's charity Health Stars.

The shirt was commissioned by Hull FC fan Lee Middleton who is part of a group of supporters behind The Mighty Black and Whites on Facebook.

Since its launch on the 1st of May, 600 shirts have been purchased, raising £6,000 for the NHS.
