Four men injured in two separate shootings in Sheffield
Police have stepped up patrols in the Burngreave and Sharrow areas of Sheffield following two reported shootings in the early hours of Friday, 8 May.
Officers were called to Burngreave around midnight, after members of the public reported hearing gunshots. It is believed that shots were fired towards a group of men who were stood together in Grimesthorpe Road.
Three men suffered gunshot injuries and were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening but they remain in hospital.
At around 2am, a 53-year-old man was then shot in the arm and leg at an address in Club Garden Road, Sharrow. The man was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
