Lincolnshire Police launches appeal after elderly man is spat on

Lincolnshire Police is appealing for help in identifying a man in connection with an assault in which an elderly man was spat on.

At around midday on April 14, the victim, who's in his 70s, was withdrawing money from a cash machine in Hall Place, Spalding when a man who was walking past him on the pavement made contact with the victim's arm.

According to police, the victim asked the suspect to be careful, as he was worried about social distancing. The suspect responded and spat on the victim, before walking away.
