Sheffield couple fined after setting up camp in the woods with a barbecue
A man and a woman from Sheffield have been fined by police after deciding to set up a tent in the woods with a hammock and a barbecue.
Officers from Derbyshire Constabulary visited a remote area of woodland near Longshaw after concerns from the fire services about a barbecue being lit in the area.
On arrival, they discovered a 37-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman.
The pair, who are from Sheffield, were given fixed penalty notices and ordered to pack up their belongings before being escorted away from the land.
