Two men in hospital after explosion at house in Ravensthorpe
A 55-year-old man has been seriously injured after a major explosion at a house in Ravensthorpe.
The man who was in the house at the time of the blast, is being treated in hospital for his injuries, though they are not thought to be life threatening.Another man, is also in hospital after being struck by debris from the explosion.
More than 30 firefighters were called to tackle the blaze which has destroyed the property on Crescent Walk. Crews were called out to reports of a suspected explosion at around 11:37am, the cause of which is not yet known.
A police cordon has been put up with have roads leading to Crescent Walk blocked and people are being kept away from the scene.
