Man stabbed to death in Sheffield named
A 23-year-old man who died after being stabbed in the Woodthorpe area of Sheffield on Friday night (6 March) has today been named as Jordan Marples-Douglas.
Police were called to a property on Woodthorpe Road at around 8.10pm, after Jordan had suffered multiple stab wounds.
He sadly died at the scene a short time later.
A post-mortem examination found that he died as a result of a stab wound to the chest.
His family have now formally identified him and have released a picture.
