Thrush Hour: A pair of Mistle thrushes raise an early brood on a traffic light at a busy Leeds junction

Mum and Dad Mistle Thrush have decided to raise an early brood on a traffic light in Leeds. The 4 chicks hatched during StormDennis and seem oblivious to the traffic. Mistle thrushes are on the RED list of endagered species but as you can see they nested on the Amber light . Both parents are taking it in turn to forage for worms and It's tiring work finding enough food to feed four hungry mouths at this time of year. Thank you to @LeedsBirder on Twitter.
