Drug dealer jailed after repeatedly selling drugs whilst on bail

Darren Bygrave from Barnsley has been jailed for selling Class A and Class B drugs across South and West Yorkshire.

The forty nine year old was initially charged and released on bail for smuggling drugs to an inmate in HMP New Hall in Wakefield. However, he continued to offend whilst out of police custody. On two occasions he was stopped by officers and found to have drugs on his person.

On the second occasion officers searching Bygrave's car discovered a yellow plastic egg that contained 44 wraps of crack cocaine and three wraps of heroin.

Bygrave was sentenced to four years and one month at Sheffield Crown Court.
