Jordan Sinnott's family 'overwhelmed' by support since footballer's death

The family of professional footballer Jordan Sinnott say they have been "overwhelmed" by the support they've received since his death.

The 25-year-old, who played for Chesterfield before moving to Matlock Town, died following an incident in Retford at the weekend.

Dozens of football clubs have responded to an appeal to donate shirts bearing Jordan's name, which will be displayed at his funeral before being auctioned off for charity.

His mother Mel Tait says it has given them strength during this difficult time.
