Police investigate reports of racist abuse of Mansfield Town footballer

Police are investigating claims that a Mansfield Town player has received racist abuse on Twitter.

The report was investigated by Nottinghamshire Police and the alleged Twitter account was found to belong to a person in Derbyshire.

The individual involved has contacted the force and both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire police are investigating.
