Police appeal to find man in connection with Newland Avenue assaults
The police have launched an appeal to help identify a man in connection with an alleged incident on Newland Avenue in Hull during which a father and son were assaulted.
It happened around 1.40am on Sunday 8 December at the junction of Lambert Street while the victims waited for a taxi.
A man approached the pair and assaulted the father who fell to the floor. He sustained a head injury and cuts - he later needed hospital treatment. It's believed the man then went on to further assault the son.
Officers have extensively reviewed CCTV footage in the surrounding area, and have released this image of an individual they would like to trace in connection with the incident.
