Two teenagers arrested after police car rammed

An 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy are in custody today (4 December) on suspicion of ramming a police car in Hull yesterday in a suspected stolen car.

It happened around 4pm on Pearson Park. It was reported that a car was spotted which was thought to have false number plates on.

Officers attended and the car was driven into the police car. The suspects ran away but they were caught and arrested.

After enquiries it was found that the suspects’ car had been reported stolen following an alleged burglary at a property on Cottingham Road in Hull on Saturday 30 November.

Both arrested individuals are currently in our custody on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and burglary.
