Two men, aged 21 and 26, die in A19 collision
Two men in their 20s have died in a collision on the A19 near Selby in North Yorkshire.
It happened in the village of Whitley at about 9.50pm on November 29th, when police were called to a report of a silver Ford Focus colliding with a tree in the village of Whitley.
Despite the efforts of all the emergency services - including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and specialist HART paramedics - both men, aged 21 and 26, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their families have been informed.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or the vehicle involved, or may have dash-cam footage, to get in touch. Prior to the collision, the Ford was travelling north from the direction of Askern towards Whitley.
