Mental health struggles in sport

It's 8 years to the day since the former Leeds and Sheffield United footballer Gary Speed took his own life. Two weeks later Bradford and Hull legend Dean Windass tried to do the same.

Dean says he's suffered from depression and anxiety since the age of 12 and even during his playing days had to stop himself breaking down in tears in front of his teammates.

Now he's encouraging others to open up about their mental health struggles and has been talking to our sports reporter Chris Dawkes.
