Teenager from Rotherham has face rebuilt after horse riding accident
A teenager from Rotherham has had her face rebuilt following what doctors have described as one of the worst accidents they have seen.
Emily Eccles, who is 15, was left with half of her jaw attached to her face by just a small piece of skin after hitting a gatepost in August while horse riding.
The teenager was in the operating theatre for more than five hours while surgeons tried to repair her face.
Emily had three titanium screws fitted and is now recovering well.
