Some of the world's best young cyclists have rolled into action in Doncaster this morning, as the UCI Road World Championships visits South Yorkshire for the first time.
Hundreds of schoolchildren waved off the Junior Women's Road Race at a new purpose-built cycle track at Doncaster Dome.

The road race set off on the 86km route at 8.40am.
The Women's competition was won by America's Megan Jastrab, in a time of 2:08:00. That meant she averaged more than 40.3 kmph.
