Man found guilty of race hate offences
A man has been sentenced to 2-years and six months in prison for intending to stir up racial hatred.
46-year-old Nathan Worrell of Scott Close, Grimsby was found guilty of eight offences following a trial at Grimsby Crown Court.Four offences of possessing material likely to stir up racial hatred and four offences of stirring up racial hatred.
During the trial, the defendant described himself as an "ethno-nationalist" and said he did not believe in "diversity or multiculturalism".
He also denied the Holocaust took place and said he had been a member of the Ku Klux Klan.
Worrell was previously sentenced in 2018 to seven years and three months for offences under Section 57 of the Terrorism Act 2000 (Possession of material for terrorist purposes) and racially aggravated harassment.
