Prescription drugs stolen during burglary at Holme Valley Mountain Rescue

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at Holme Valley Mountain Rescue where prescription drugs were stolen.

The incident happened overnight between 26 and 27 August at the premise on Manchester Road in Marsden.

Suspects broke into the premises and forced a safe from inside the building off the wall.

A laptop and two computer screens were also stolen.

The safe contained a large quantity of medical supplies of prescriptions drugs including Morphine and Diazepam.

A quantity of drugs and some paperwork has been recovered nearby, but there are still a lot missing.

Enquiries are ongoing.
