Throughout his leadership campaign, the incoming Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised that Britain will leave the EU on 31 October come what may.

That means the prospect of a no-deal withdrawal is now more likely than ever.

There are serious concerns over what impact that could have on our economy – perhaps nowhere more so than in Scunthorpe where around 4,000 workers are hoping a buyer can be found for the troubled British Steel plant.
